About me
Hi – my name is Jason Stoff, and I'm a digital product designer. I could also be described as a software designer, a UX designer, a UI designer – take your pick.
My professional focus is creating beautiful and accessible-by-default interfaces for everyday customers, because people deserve software they can understand and use.
I love the craft, everything from grey-box wire framing to drawing polished interface icons. More recently, I've enjoyed mentoring other designers on my team. I honed my skills in agencies for the first decade of my career, and I've been in-house at Starbucks for the second.
My professional values:
- Product design is a team sport. We succeed and fail as a team, no designer stands alone.
- Accessibility is not optional. Every customer, at times, needs accessibility affordances – and some need them all the time.
- Clear is kind. Feedback should be honest, direct and focused on the work, not the individual creating it.
